Structural and piping work under one roof

Ironwoods Steel Fabrication delivers shop-built equipment for operators, OEMs and EPCs across North America. Capabilities cover pipe spool fabrication, skid packaging, module assembly, structural steel, tanks and protective coatings — so a package that would otherwise cross three vendors is fit, welded, tested and coated in one place, by one QC program, against one schedule.

The Ironwoods difference

Built to the procedure, every time

Material expertise

We fabricate in carbon steel, stainless, duplex and super duplex, chrome-moly and nickel alloys — including low-temperature carbon steel for cryogenic service. Material is received with certs, logged, and traced through the package to turnover.

  • CarbonA36, A106, A333 low-temp
  • Stainless304 / 304L, 316 / 316L
  • Duplex2205, 2507 super duplex
  • AlloyChrome-moly, nickel alloys

Our services

What we build

01

Pipe spool fabrication

Spools cut and welded from isometrics in carbon, stainless, duplex and alloy — weld maps, material traceability and NDE per spec, delivered in field-installation sequence.

02

Skid packaging

Fuel gas conditioning, pump, metering and process skids built complete on structural frames — equipment set, piping run, supports welded, ready for a single lift.

03

Module assembly

Pipe-rack modules, process modules, stair towers and structural modules assembled in the shop to cut field hours and compress site schedule.

04

Structural steel

Skid frames, access platforms, stairs, handrails and pipe supports — shop-fit and match-marked so field crews bolt rather than fit.

05

Tanks & storage

Atmospheric tanks, cone-bottom tanks and diesel day tanks in carbon and stainless construction.

06

Launchers & slug catchers

Pig launcher and receiver barrels with quick-opening closures, plus slug catcher piping and support assemblies for midstream service.

07

Enclosures & weldments

Sealed equipment enclosures and precision weldments to specified IP ratings, in mixed carbon and stainless construction.

08

Coatings & delivery

Blast, prime and finish coat applied in-house, then loaded out and routed to site — including oversize and multi-piece shipments.
